Forty-seven years ago today, the The Gallatin County Tribune and Belgrade Journal published a "Special Edition" outlining the plans for our yet-to-be-formed mountain resort community. The feature article, entitled, "Lone Mountain Looms Over Site of Proposed Big Sky Complex," leads with the news of "The Big Sky of Montana" having been confirmed by Chrysler Realty Corporation and Chet Huntley form the Governor's office the preceding day. What a great first month it's been for the Big Sky Young Professionals! After our initial Focus Group meeting on November 2nd, we officially launched the group on December 7th with a Kick Off Party at the Lone Peak Brewery.
