Managers already have so much on their plates these days and dealing with a problem employee or someone who is a good producer for operations AND loves to stir the pot is counterproductive. So HOW do managers fix this problem and save the rest of the employees before the whole team goes sour?! Creating a process to coach employees on the spot and in the moment, plus documenting what conversation took place is a great place to begin.
Since most Managers haven’t practiced what to say, they don’t begin the conversation because it’s too hard. I’ll give you the process to follow each time and what to say during the conversation or meeting.
